ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course is the first step on your healthcare path. The course is required for entrance into many Emily Griffith Health Science programs and most healthcare settings.

Not only will you acquire CPR and AED (defibrillator) skills, but you will also learn to recognize life-threatening situations and respond appropriately, whether the patient is an adult, child, or infant.

Program Length: 4 hours

Format: Hybrid (partially online and in-person)
