Stationary Engineer

Students learn how to take charge and operate steam boilers, steam pumps, steam engines and mechanical refrigeration systems. Students will learn how to keep and maintain the heating and cooling systems in large commercial office and warehouse spaces. Instruction will include low-pressure steam heating, evaporative cooling systems water treatment, commercial heating systems. Students will also learn 21st Century work readiness skills, communication, workplace safety, data recording and records will also be covered.
