The Nurse Assisting Program consists of theory and clinical experience. This program meets the Colorado OBRA certification requirements; successful graduates are eligible to take the state certification exam.
A reading test is required for entrance into the program. Additional costs, which are not included in the tuition, for this program include book, uniforms, watch with second hand, and fees associated with state board testing. Proof of a negative TB test is required prior to the clinical rotation.
This program is approved by the State Board of Nursing.
