Automotive Collision Repair

The Auto Collision program prepares students for a career in the automotive collision repair industry. From metalworking, painting and detailing, to the satisfaction of restoring vehicles, our hands-on, technologically advanced certified training program will teach you the skills needed to repair and restore a wide variety of vehicles. Our curriculum follows the I-CAR, ASE, and NATEF (National Automotive Technical Education Foundation) guidelines.

Our ASE certified instructors teach with the aid of the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) advanced technician curriculum, which includes the ability to read technical manuals, make precise measurements and work with advanced computer technology. The EGTech College Auto Collision program provides instruction in three areas: Non-Structural Repair; Paint and Refinishing; and Structural Repair. Upon completion of each of the three programs, our students are prepared to take the ASE tests for that subject area.

Our state-of-the-art facility includes: GARMAT downdraft spray booth along with two matching prep decks for painting; a fully stocked solvent and waterborne paint banks for maximum paint mixing and matching capabilities; a new 3M fresh air system for painting; a Chief Titan 360 frame rack; 5 Clean air welding booths for students to learn welding, ensuring a safe and perfect welding environment; MIG welders; oxy-acetylene torches; English wheels.

Individual courses may be taken if the prerequisites have been met. You will have the opportunity to work in the field while you attend class.

From our students...

The esthetician program is amazing. There are so many options to choose in the field – a spa setting, working with a physician or working with makeup. I love my teacher!
