Metalworking and Welding

The courses in this section include blacksmithing as well as artistic and functional welding. With options for all levels of knowledge and experience, these classes cover beginning, intermediate and advanced techniques as well as shop and tool function and safety.

Beginning Blacksmithing

Welding, safety and the basic skills of the craft. (6 sessions)

Learn the essentials of MIG welding while building your own personal metal project. Students will acquire skills in plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, and oxy-fueling welding in addition to common shop and tool safety. Tool and equipment list provided at registration. (6 sessions)
