Engine Repair Technician

The Engine Repair Technician Program is one of eight areas of completion in the automotive technician program. Certificates are given for successful completion of each area. A master completion certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of all eight areas. Eight areas of completion: electrical systems, engine repair, engine performance, heating and air conditioning, brakes, steering and suspension, manual drive train, automatic transmissions. The Automotive Technician program is a master certified program through the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). The program, along with actual work experience in the automotive repair field, will prepare you to be a Master ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Technician. The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), certifies technicians.
